Aloha –
I am writing this from Washington DC. I am attending the US SBA Board of Directors meeting for Regulatory Fairness and preparing to offer testimony this afternoon on behalf of the Liquor Commissions in Hawaii (one for each county) on the challenges they were experiencing with the IRS. I emphasize "were". We filled the comment form stating the issue on July 25. This form went from the DC offices of the SBA to the IRS Commissioner and back to Hawaii requesting a meeting in less than two weeks. We had a series of phone calls and a meeting with the matter being resolved in about four weeks on August 21. Truly amazing!! The process does work and we can resolve federal regulatory issues using the SBA's Regulatory Fairness Board (I am a board member and Chair Region IX).
Now for ASC's – certainly a step in the right director for fixing our healthcare crisis in the Hawaii and the US. Check it out and let me know what you think?

And if you know anyone that has a good story to tell about their business please ask them to contact me. Would love to see if there is a fit to have them on the Show.
See you next week,
RB
